Harvesters’ Fulfilling the Promise Campaign is a call to invest in the lives of those we serve in Sudan.  As the Lord declares in Jeremiah 29:11, He plans to prosper us…and plans to give us hope and a future.  That is OUR promise for those we serve…a hope and a future filled with the blessings of God’s kingdom.  What an opportunity we have to make a difference in the lives of so many in one of Africa’s harshest places.  For our orphans, we provide quality Christ-centered care until they are able to leave and adequately care for themselves.  For our school children, we provide an outstanding Christian education that will impact lives for eternity.  For our adults, we provide meaningful employment and a chance to develop new skills.  For all, we provide instruction in evangelism and discipleship to impact their communities for Christ.  We invite you to join our sponsorship program so that you can help fulfill our promise.  Not only will you be making an investment in these children and adults, you will be making an investment in God’s kingdom.

Harvesters was founded to impart God’s promise to those we serve.  Our mission is to be a voice and haven for the voiceless orphans of the world. Aided by the grace of God and the dedication and hard work of His people, we are releasing children from spiritual, economic, social and physical poverty by providing a place of shelter and caring, a place of learning and a place of worship.

The impact of your gift:  immediate and eternal

Your investment in Harvesters’ sponsorship program allows you to personally support the children and adults at Harvesters.  It helps provide love, security, shelter, food, good health and an education for those we serve.  Our orphans, teachers, widows and students all benefit from your gift, both immediately and for all eternity.

The need for your gift: real and vital

The goal of Harvesters Promise Campaign is $225,000.  Your gifts can be made in commitments from $360 per year up to $3,000 per year.  For as little as $30 per month to sponsor an orphan up to $250 per month to sponsor a classroom of students at Harvesters school, you can make a difference in so many lives.

For our orphans, your gift helps pay for their care, shelter, food, clothing and medical needs.  For our teachers, your gift helps pay for their salaries and continuing education.  For our widows, your gift helps pay for their salaries, housing, clothing, food and medical care.  For our students, your gift helps pay for textbooks, uniforms, and meals. 

• Sponsorships for a classroom of students are $3,000 per year ($250 per month)
  
• Sponsorships for widows are $1,200 per year ($100 per month)
  
• Sponsorships for teachers are $900 per year ($75 per month)
  
• Sponsorships for orphans are $360 per year ($30 per month)

Your gift to Harvesters’ Promise Campaign celebrates God’s abundance in your life and in our ministry.  It gives us a wonderful opportunity to work together for the full coming of God’s Kingdom.  If you are willing to partner with us on this journey, review the details below for the various methods and timing of your gift.  Donations to Harvesters are tax deductible.  We ask for your commitment for one year for a sponsorship.  If you can consider a longer-term investment, that would be an even greater blessing.

If you want to participate in Harvesters’ Sponsorship Program, you can join in one of several ways… 

• Go to our online donation page and sign up for either one-time or recurring payments on your credit card.  Select the “Sponsorship 2007 Fund” and in the comment section, please indicate any preference you have for either gender or age of your sponsored individual.

• To arrange for automatic withdrawals from your checking account, please contact Amy Gillispie at amy.gillispie@hrtn.org.

• If you want to pay by check, please make your check payable to Harvesters Reaching the Nations (or HRTN) and mail to HRTN, P.O. Box 940811, Plano, TX 75094-0811.  If you elect to pay on any basis other than annual, please note that reminders for your payment will not be sent, in order to keep our costs as low as possible.
